Long time no see.
I loved having this platform on Substack in the Covid era – it was such a great place for me to flex my writing muscles and figure out what I wanted to say and think.
I write a lot more for other places now: you can read my writing for the Guardian, Financial Times, frieze, ARTnews, ArtReview, etc. here. I won’t really be using this space anymore (which you’ve probably gathered, haha).
BUT I’ve just started a new publication with my friend and colleague, Isabella Fox Arias. It’s called Tandem, and it is published as a newsletter and online every week. We publish a long-form essay, an artist interview, and some fun shorter bits every month. We’re trying to create a dialogue between the old and the new in the arts, something we think is there already but not written about enough.
